Our implementation methodology is designed in a modular seven-phase process, utilizing the Calypso Fast-Track product which contains all of the elements necessary ― including pre-configurations, tools, processes and instructions ― to perform a successful Calypso system implementation. The Calypso seven-phase implementation methodology is a street-tested method for effective project management.

Calypso Seven-Phase Implementation Process


Five-Phase Process

  1. Discovery phase: a due diligence process to ensure that the goals, scope, and risks to implementing the target solution are understood.
  2. Project preparation: development of a detailed project planning that outlines the technology design and deployment, disaster recovery, software installation plan, systems training, and test environments.
  3. Design stage: project team training, delivery of the customer’s business operating requirements, prototyping, test and migration strategies, interface design, Calypso enhancements and customer
  4. Configuration stage: consists of configuration of the Calypso application, reports, interfaces and enhancements, and any amendments to the customer’s business operating procedures.
  5. Testing: includes test planning, system / integration testing, user acceptance testing, operational acceptance, and regression testing.
  6. Migration: planning and testing to prove the migration strategy and tactical interfaces match the design stage, with a rehearsal of the migration to live production, and data cleansing.
  7. Rollout: user training, user access and permissions, parallel run (if required), provision of initial, on-site, post live support.
