Didier Bouillard

Didier Bouillard
Chief Executive Officer

Didier Bouillard serves as CEO of Calypso and AxiomSL, following the merger of the two companies in July 2021. He joined Calypso as CEO in April 2018 and is based in London.

Prior to Calypso, Didier served as CEO of Ullink, a global provider of connectivity and trading services, from early 2015. The primary objective of the assignment was to merge NYFIX, acquired by Ullink in late 2014, and transition the overall group from a founder-led business into a private equity-owned business. After several years of steady growth of revenues and profits, Ullink was successfully sold to Nordic Capital-backed Itiviti. Prior to Ullink, Didier was an Executive Vice President at SunGard Financial Systems (now part of FIS) and operated a substantial part of the Capital Markets and Electronic Trading division, playing a key role in global distribution.

Since the start of his career in the 1990’s, Didier has provided his leadership to several successful entrepreneurial ventures, including as Partner for Ubitrade, Managing Director for Capital Fund Management, and CEO for Fermat, gaining extensive knowledge of the capital markets and banking industry as well as true international exposure.

Didier graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in 1988.


Helene Koutsoudakis

Helene Koutsoudakis
Chief Financial Officer

Helene Koutsoudakis is Chief Financial Officer, providing enterprise-wide oversight of Calypso and AxiomSL’s financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, commercial and operational improvements, and stakeholder relationships management.

Prior to Calypso, Helene served as an Operating Partner at HG Capital, supporting their portfolio businesses in the software and broader technology sectors. Previously, she was with Advanced Computer Software Group as Group Finance Director, where she played a pivotal role in the sale of the business to Vista Equity Partners in March 2015. Prior to that, she spent more than eight years with COA Solutions (acquired by Advanced Computer Software Group) as Group Financial Controller leading the integration process of COA solutions into the larger Advanced Software Group.

Helene holds a degree in Accounting from the Rand Afrikaans University (now University of Johannesburg) and an ACCA qualification from The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.


Mayank Shah

Mayank Shah
Chief of Staff

Mayank Shah is the Chief of Staff, overseeing strategic partnerships, marketing, sales operations, operational board reporting and transformation initiatives for Calypso and AxiomSL.

Prior to Calypso, Mayank served as Senior Product Manager at Citadel Technology, the technology subsidiary of Citadel Investment Group. Previously, Mayank was an Associate Partner at IBM and a Senior Manager at BearingPoint (formerly KPMG Consulting), managing strategy and transformation projects for global financial services institutions.

Mayank holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bombay University.


Joshua Geller

Joshua Geller
Chief Legal Officer

Joshua Geller is Chief Legal Officer, overseeing all legal matters for AxiomSL and Calypso.

Prior to AxiomSL, Josh was a partner in the Corporate Department of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP where he was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Client, and Investment Management practice groups, counseling clients on a wide range of strategic transactions across different industries. Josh joined Curtis as a summer associate and held associate and counsel roles before being named partner.

Josh holds a B.A. in economics from Yeshiva University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a J.D. from Fordham University, where he was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. He is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association, where he serves as a member of the Trade Secrets Committee.


Vladimir Etkin

Vladimir Etkin
Chief Technology Officer

Vladimir Etkin is Chief Technology Officer, focusing on the development and execution of Calypso and AxiomSL’s core technology and innovation strategy. Since joining AxiomSL in 1992, he has been instrumental in developing and implementing AxiomSL’s ControllerView® software architecture, enabling the company’s product suite to become an industry leader.

Prior to AxiomSL, Vlad managed a group of programmers in creating one of the first FMS/ERP programs in Ukraine. He also participated in and later headed a group of programmers who designed an operating system and programs for numeric control devices for grinding machines.

Vlad holds a degree in theoretical physics from Kharkov University, Ukraine.


Richard Bentley

Richard Bentley
Chief Product and Engineering Officer

Richard Bentley serves as the Chief Product and Engineering Officer for Calypso and AxiomSL, overseeing product management, engineering and quality assurance.

Prior to Calypso, Richard served as Chief Product Officer for Ullink (now part of Itiviti) for five years. In 2000, he was a founding member of Apama (now part of Software AG). Richard began his career as a research scientist, holding roles with Xerox Research Centre (EuroPARC) and the Fraunhofer Institute and over the last 20 years has served in various product roles for capital markets technology firms.

Richard holds a PhD and a BSc in Computer Science from Lancaster University.


Laurent Jacquemin

Laurent Jacquemin
Chief Customer Officer

Laurent Jacquemin is Chief Customer Officer, overseeing the global customer, professional services and cloud organizations.

Previously, Laurent led FIS’ global Post-trade Processing business, as a Division Executive. Prior to this role, he spent nearly seven years with SunGard Financial Systems as the Global Head, progressing to EVP and then the Group President of Post-trade Derivatives. Prior to that, he spent three years with GL Trade as a Managing Director and 11 years with Ubitrade in a variety of management roles in professional and customer services, in product development and strategy, and in sales. He began his career as an IT Analyst and Project Manager in the artificial intelligence space with GSI TESCI.

Laurent holds engineering degrees in Chemistry and Physics from ESPCI.


Ben Fisbein

Ben Fisbein
Global Head of Sales, Capital Markets and Regulatory Solutions

Ben Fisbein is Global Head of Sales for Capital Market and Regulatory Solutions, managing the global sales organization. His focus is on enabling clients to increase their STP and make better trading decisions, while remaining compliant with current and future regulatory requirements. Prior to this role, he managed the North America sales organization at Calypso Technology.

Prior to Calypso, Ben spent 14 years at Moody’s Analytics and Fermat, where he held numerous enterprise software sales management positions in Europe and North America, helping clients comply with risk and capital regulations (mainly Basel and Dodd Frank).

Ben holds a MSc in Computer Science from Cy Tech (Ex. EISTI).


Edward Probst

Edward Probst
Head of Strategy, Regulatory Solutions

Ed Probst is the Head of Strategy for Regulatory Solutions. Since joining AxiomSL in 2010 he has been instrumental in establishing AxiomSL as the industry leader for risk and regulatory reporting.

Ed previously served as Chief Product Officer, as General Manager in North America, where he was responsible for product strategy, development, services, sales and support for the region, and as Head of Product and Pre-sales for the Americas, where he led key growth initiatives across the US and Canada. Ed has extensive experience in technology, regulatory reporting, risk management and banking. Prior to joining AxiomSL, Ed spent more than a decade in the RegTech industry focused on data management, risk and regulatory.

Ed holds both a BSc in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance and Economics from Baruch College.


Gil Guillaumey

Gil Guillaumey
Head of Strategy, Capital Market Solutions

Gil Guillaumey joined Calypso in 2018 as the Head of Strategy for Capital Market Solutions to oversee pre-sales, go-to-market, and product marketing activities for Calypso’s solutions.

Prior to Calypso, Gil spent three years as Head of Strategy at Ullink, four years as Head of Pre-sales at Murex, and 10 years at Moody’s Analytics, where he oversaw the Fermat Regulatory Calculation and Reporting product suite’s European sales & pre-sales teams. Gil began his career at Accenture, where he managed application development teams for the TMT business line.

Gil holds a MSc in Computer Science from Centrale-Supelec.


Karoline Raets

Karoline Raets
Chief People Officer

Karoline Raets joined the newly formed AxiomSL and Calypso entity in August 2021 as Chief People Officer, overseeing HR tools & systems, talent acquisition, employee engagement, Internal/international mobility, onboarding, referral and loyalty rewards programs, performance & talent management, job leveling & titling, reward strategies, executive coaching, DE&I, ESG.

Karoline has a diverse background in Human Resources, Internal Communications, Marketing, Public & Investor Relations. She’s been working in the Fintech industry for the last 22 years. Prior to Calypso/AxiomSL Karoline served as Chief People Officer at Itiviti recently acquired by Broadridge, previously she was CHRO at Ullink (acquired by Itiviti in 2018). During her time at Sungard/FIS she was in charge of the company’s global Talent & Performance strategy and implementation.

Karoline holds a Bachelor of arts in Marketing & Communications from Hoger Handels & Talent Instituut.

Alexander Tsigutkin

Alexander Tsigutkin

Alexander Tsigutkin is a member of the Board of Directors. Alex is the founder of AxiomSL and served as its CEO from 1991 to the merger with Calypso in 2021.

As the founder of AxiomSL, Alex designed the original framework for AxiomSL’s solutions, and invented and patented its dynamic approach to managing data for risk management and regulatory reporting applications.

Prior to founding AxiomSL, Alex was an independent consultant to top-tier international banks and financial institutions, advising senior management in banking operations and database engineering.

Alex holds a B.A. in computer science from Yeshiva University. He also attended the Graduate Computer Science Program at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.


Holden Spaht

Holden Spaht

Holden Spaht is a Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2005. Holden is responsible for finding and executing new deals, monitoring and growing the portfolio as an active board member, and helping to manage the firm. Previously, he was with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in London, Thomas H. Lee Partners in Boston, and Morgan Stanley in New York. Additionally, he is a member of the Tipping Point Community Leadership Council and Trustee of Schools of the Sacred Heart San Francisco. Holden was a Fulbright Scholar and earned his BA degree in Economics at Dartmouth and his MBA at Harvard Business School.


Charles Goodman

Charles Goodman

Charles Goodman is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. Charles has more than 30 years of experience building profitable businesses. Most recently he served as CEO of PowerPlan, a Thoma Bravo portfolio company that sold to Roper Technologies in 2018. Prior to joining PowerPlan in 2015, Charles was CEO of P2 Energy Solutions. As CEO, he executed multiple market strategies and led three acquisitions to expand the solution portfolio from the back office into operations, while steadily growing P2’s presence across the globe. At Ventyx, he served as COO and was instrumental in developing new global markets across six continents. In addition to helping companies expand, Charles has a passion for transforming organizations by focusing on employee culture and the customer experience. During his tenure at Atmos Energy, where he was EVP, Corporate Operations, he experienced first-hand how these factors influenced the company’s success. Charles graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS degree in Engineering.


Kristin Nimsger

Kristin Nimsger

Kristin Nimsger is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. She has more than 20 years of experience driving outsized growth in software and technology companies. Kristin was President of Kroll Ontrack, where she ran the business from start-up to more than $200M in seven years. Kroll Ontrack operated in 23 countries with 1500+ employees, and the company was sold to Providence Equity Partners in 2010. Additionally, she was General Manager of the litigation software division of Thomson Reuters. Kristin also served as CEO of two Vista Equity Partners portfolio companies: MicroEdge, which was sold to publicly traded Blackbaud (Nasdaq: BLKB in 2014), and Social Solutions Global. During her time with Social Solutions, Kristin led the negotiation of and partnership with Ballmer Group, which included a $59M investment from former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who joined the company’s Board of Directors. Before joining Thoma Bravo, she most recently served as a Senior Advisor, Private Equity to Vista Equity Partners. Kristin has a BA from the University of Minnesota, a Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law, and a Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management.


Erik Akopiantz

Erik Akopiantz

Erik Akopiantz is an Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo. He brings a combination of entrepreneurial, operational, strategic and transaction expertise across a variety of industries spanning start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations. Erik’s prior experience includes serving as a Board member for Bomgar, Operating Advisor for GHX, SailPoint and DigiCert, Chief Financial Officer for Roadnet Technologies, Inc., Chief Operating Officer for Paranet Solutions, LLC, CEO for Digital Reach, and various finance positions for The SABRE Group. He earned an MBA from Rice University and a BS degree in Finance from the University of Vermont.


Jamie Hutter

Jamie Hutter

Jamie Hutter is a Vice President on the Flagship team at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2014. In this role, Jamie focuses primarily on application software investments. Prior to Thoma Bravo, he worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Jamie earned his BA with Honors in Science, Technology & Society at Stanford University and is a member of the NextGen Leadership Council for the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco.


Brian Jaffee

Brian Jaffee

Brian Jaffee is a Principal on the Flagship team at Thoma Bravo. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2014 as a Vice President. Prior to joining Thoma Bravo, Brian served as an Associate and Senior Associate at Veritas Capital. Prior to joining Veritas in 2009, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group at Merrill Lynch, where he originated structured and executed leveraged loan and high yield bond financings for leveraged buyouts, strategic acquisitions, and recapitalizations across a wide range of industries. Brian holds a BS degree, magna cum laude, in Finance from Miami University and an MBA from University of Chicago.
